Robert Bullivant
Photographer & Master Printer
Robert Bullivant is the owner Bullivant Gallery and Consulting a business he started twenty years ago to work with artists, photographers, museums and galleries. The Gallery creates limited edition fine art prints of his work as well as that of the more than a hundred artists who have become clients over the years. Many of the artists who began working with him back in the early days are still loyal customers, a point he attributes to his collaborative working style.
In 2001, Robert developed a unique workflow that he named and trademarked Esattezza Arte®, meaning “exactitude” in Italian. It was this process that first enabled him to make prints with the color, detail, and permanence that museums and collectors sought after, and is a process that he has refined over the years to further the quality of each print and scan they make today.
In his personal art, Robert worked with famed Italian motorcycle designer Massimo Tamburini in creating a series of limited edition original artworks featuring some of Tamburini’s classic motorcycle designs including the Ducati 916 and MV Augusta F4 Oro motorcycles. Robert’s motorcycle prints were featured in the traveling Art of the Motorcycle exhibit at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao Spain, and his prints have been sold to collectors in more than 60 countries. His love of motorcycle and automobile themes continues to be a prominent portion of his personal art.
Prior to opening Bullivant Gallery and Consulting, he operated Bullivant Studios in Chicago and St. Louis for 10 years where he was hired by clients such as Sony, Hewlett-Packard, United Airlines, McDonalds, Kraft, Purina, Microsoft, Audi, Kellogg’s, and Anheuser-Busch to create unique photography for their advertising campaigns.
Robert is a past Vice President of the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum, now located in St. Louis Missouri just a few blocks from his offices. He lives in Webster Groves Missouri with his wife, two children, and his favorite canine.
